Future Yourself is a personal reflection app for writing messages to your future self. This policy explains what information the app may store or use.
Information You Provide
The app may store information you enter, including:
- Your name or display name.
- Your selected goals, preferences, reminder times, and onboarding answers.
- Future messages you create, including text, photos, and voice notes.
- Saved or liked reflection content.
Local Storage
Future Yourself is designed to keep your personal reflection data on your device using local app storage. Photos and voice notes attached to future messages are stored locally in the app's document storage.
Remote Content
Future Yourself may connect to Firebase services to load app content such as quotes, affirmations, reflection questions, and challenges. This remote content is separate from your private future messages.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Future Yourself schedules local reminders and future message notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private future messages for advertising. Service providers used to operate app functionality may process technical data according to their own privacy terms.
Deleting Data
You can delete messages in the app. You can also remove app data by deleting the app from your device. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact us at futureyou.support@gmail.com.
Children
Future Yourself is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Changes
